Tourney & Weather Update:
Tourney delayed, but STILL ON.
Due to the current forecast, we have decided to DELAY tourney start time, but the tourney is still ON. Yes, it will rain today/tonight but should stop around 7AM and should lighten up for the rest of the day! We'll rake and clean the sand beforehand. The sand might be more packed but just think: you'll be faster on the court with more hops!! :D
**Please arrive for player check ins NO LATER than 830AM-915AM.** If you're not checked in by 915AM, unfortunately we'll have to start without you with pools adjusted.
We will take group pic at 930AM, at which the first round of pool play will start right after at 930AM!! GAME ON!! :D
For the gracious volunteers coming early to set up nets and courts, please come at 730AM! We will have some goodies/swag for you!! <3 :)
Tourney Less Than a Week Away!
Tourney is now less than 1 WEEK away, and everything is falling into place nicely!!
1) We are now assigning the pool play spread for men's and women's. Registered players, PLEASE let us know if you *can no longer play* ASAP so we can fill those spots right away and get the pools locked down! There is still an active waitlist for girls & guys.
2) Players, please bring a few of your balls for tourney play. The tourney can't happen without ballzzz! (Pun intended) :D
3) Player CHECK-INS are at 7:30AM-8:15AM! We are on a tight schedule for the tourney to run smooth and stay on track, PLEASE be ON TIME! Swag will be given out to players who come early to help finish net setup (7AMish)! :)
4) Bring all the normal stuff for a vball tourney that you need: (positivity, sunscreen, lucky pair of shades, towel, tourney chair, plenty of water, etc).
5) If you have any to give, please bring any old AVP Wilson🏐’s (white or yellow) to donate to Chris Law’s Volleyball Clinic in Del Mar! 🙌🏼
